Eddi lives in Adelaide, South Australia, with her partner, Peter. Originally from Italy, she migrated with her family to Australia at the age of two. She became a teacher, married and had two children. Divorcing after 21 years of marriage, then upskilling herself with a Library degree, she went on to become a computer/software trainer and system tester, technical writer and editor.

 Eddi worked as an editor for a number of years, proofreading and editing academic texts. As a Learning Materials Coordinator and Editor, she edited course materials for the MBA course. As a Technical Writer, she wrote and edited user and procedure manuals for an Engineering company. Her fourteen years as a BA saw her writing online help text for local government software and solving IT issues as a Helpdesk Officer.  She has worked with migrant students teaching English as a second language and understands the writing problems faced by non-native English speakers. Along with expertise in technical writing and the creation of user guides and instruction manuals, she has studied web design and development, and hospitality and tourism, enabling her to successfully run and market her own B&B in the Adelaide Hills.

Currently retired, she devotes some of her time to volunteering in the aged care sector. She is always trying new ventures and hobbies. An outlet for her creativity is the Blog ‘Seventy Something’ where she creates humorous and insightful commentaries on today’s society. As for her hobbies, she dabbles in Paint by Numbers and has created several pieces, which she has hanging on her walls at home. Then she tried her hand at Diamond Art, which inspired her to write her book ‘Sparkle & Shine: A Beginner’s Guide to Diamond Art’, to help others start out on this fascinating and creative journey.

Eddi is an ‘attention-to-detail’ person and passionate about all her creative ventures. She has written four books of various genres, including a children’s picture book called ‘Poppy’s Soggy Pillow’, which she has dedicated to her grandchildren, Lily and Max.
