What inspired you to start writing?
I have been writing all of my life, even when I was a child growing up in the projects in Philadelphia. My love of writing and using it to create a voice led me to a career in television, where I spent 37 years, producing, writing, and overseeing ways to bring quality programs to viewers.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
“Law Enforcement: Past, Present, Future” began as a pilot for a television series, designed to highlight the lives of women who balance careers, family, and friendships while carrying the immense responsibility of protecting others. That tension between duty and personal life creates both challenges and compelling drama. This novel transforms that concept into a suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat detective thriller centered on two best friends and police partners, Samantha and Marcie. Both women are deeply committed to keeping their community safe, but their personal lives add another layer of struggle. Marcie juggles the demands of motherhood with two sons at home and a husband often away for work. Samantha, a widow, is haunted by the unsolved murder of her husband while raising her teenage daughter. Determined to move forward, she studies for the bar exam in her scarce free time, striving to create stability for her family despite her grief. Just as Samantha begins to find balance and peace, a devastating incident shatters her world, altering not only her own life but her family’s future as well.
“Law Enforcement: Past, Present, Future” is more than a detective story; it’s a gripping journey of friendship, resilience, and sacrifice, where danger lurks at every turn and the line between personal and professional life is constantly tested.
