 Wow, this read was amazing. As a memoir, it was told in a way that I didn’t expect almost like a Dickens classic. Mr. Nata holds nothing back as he recounts his life-path from a young boy from the poverty-stricken paradise of Malawi to the fearful navigation through an unfamiliar land. Through the eyes of Mr. Nkata, the reader will understand all the emotions he experienced. His unsteady experience happened at a time when immigrant stories didn’t make national news but is so relevant today. No matter your view on the controversial issue of immigration, this personal account will challenge your views on government policies and humanity. Yes, every immigrant has a story, but this personal account needed to be told.
