What inspired you to start writing?
I was inspired by a burden to address the rapidly changing events in my community and society at large. I realized that I had more inside information than I could contain or reveal on a strictly personal level as well as solutions.
-
Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
I have more than one book that I have released at the same time. "Warning to Black America about Barack Hussein Obama" addresses the Black American community and the devastating affects of his presidential administration as its legacy has continued through subsequent administrations. My other book, "Global Black Domination" is a 7-point summary of Black Divine Identity to overcome false identity complex and its pathologies as well as addressing our supreme responsibilities, rights and privileges.
-
How do you create your characters?
My book is non-fiction.
-
What does your typical writing day look like?
A typical day often starts with gathering notes collected during times away from my device and revelations and discernments through the night as well as general observation of current events that need to be included and addressed from a biblical viewpoint.
-
What has been the most rewarding part of being an indie author?
Having an e-book that I can continually update.
-
What’s one challenge you’ve faced in your writing journey?
The biggest challenge has been marketing and promotions of course as well as trying to figure out how to have book events without any physical copies for autographs and other usual strategies of engagement for hard and soft cover books.
-
Do you have any favorite writing tools or apps?
I find most of them overcomplicate the process so I like to keep it simple.
-
What advice would you give to new or aspiring indie authors?
I would advise new indie authors to realize that there are so many great authors are out there and the key difference to remember is that it all comes down to heavy marketing and promotions. It is a very significant budget all unto itself and to not underestimate it. It is how to get your books seen and heard and make your efforts worthwhile.
-
How do you handle book promotion as an indie author?
I utilize author websites and social media marketing as well as interviews everywhere I can find a microphone outside of my own self-generated promotions.
-
What’s next for you? Are you working on a new book?
I do have a book, " The Real Book on Spiritual Protocol" that I plan to release.
