What inspired you to start writing?
I started writing because the characters appeared in my head and I just had to get them out.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
My next book will be available October 7th titled Darlington Circus: The Velvet Deceit. Its a prequel to Eternal Act and Book three is titled Darlington Circus: Immortal Greed. The release is TBD.

How do you create your characters?
They are exaggerated characters from my own life that I pick out quirks and things I find interesting.

What does your typical writing day look like?
Grab some coffee and sit at my computer for a few hours and write even if it's bad, I just keep spitting it out so I can edit later.

What has been the most rewarding part of being an indie author?
It's been amazing to see other people fall in love with the characters and the world I created. It makes me want to keep writing.

What’s one challenge you’ve faced in your writing journey?
It takes discipline to make time to write and edit, edit and edit. And then edit some more and sometimes that can get discouraging but I try and stay focused on my goals.

Do you have any favorite writing tools or apps?
There are so many out there and I tried quite a few but I don't have a favorite. I still just like to write on a google doc.

What advice would you give to new or aspiring indie authors?
Start writing! I have so many people tell me they don't know where to start and I always say just sit down and start writing, anything. Just start with a simple story. You can write about anything.

How do you handle book promotion as an indie author?
I mostly use tiktok influencers to help spread the word. This is not my specialty I have a hard time promoting.

What’s next for you? Are you working on a new book?
I am writing a mythological dark romance about Hade's stepson Zagreus.
