What inspired you to start writing?
I was busy writing an autobiography for my family when I realized that this book had the ability to encourage and empower others as well.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
I decided to take my family autobiography and divide it into 5 short reads namely Humorous, Adventurous, Motivation, Reflection and Intentional all falling under Roaring through Life series. Each story is from my own life and concludes with a set of powerful questions for the reader to reflect upon. These books fall under non fiction, self help and memoirs genres and are predominantly geared for 25 year to 50 years old market niche

How do you create your characters?
All of my stories are from my own life involving myself obviously as well as people I have met over the years who have had stories that have impacted me powerfully.

What does your typical writing day look like?
I try and write at least one story each day along with reflective questions as well as work on my Amazon site, get reviews and give reviews etc

What has been the most rewarding part of being an indie author?
Being in control of my own destiny and the creative spark that comes along with constantly creating and writing new stories

What’s one challenge you’ve faced in your writing journey?
Being a pensioner working with a shoestring budget thus curtailing my ad spend coupled with having to navigate the highly advanced technical issues related to being an author

Do you have any favorite writing tools or apps?
I use Reedsy along with my standard word document files but also use Chat gpt to round off my formatting

What advice would you give to new or aspiring indie authors?
Just start doing one small thing each day and repeat daily....rinse and repeat until a habit is formed.

How do you handle book promotion as an indie author?
With great difficulty being a new author with only a few copies sold...I mainly rely on Amazon kdp which I know is not enough

I have numerous books planned which will all follow the same format and fall under my Roaring through Life series
