What inspired you to start writing?
I was a late bloomer. Started writing after leaving my corporate job. It was therapy at first, then it became passion.
-
Can you tell us a little about your latest book?
It’s part memoir, part travelogue. A story about wandering, searching, and redefining what “home” means.
-
How do you create your characters?
Most of them are me in disguise. Or who I wish I was. Or who I’m afraid to be.
-
What does your typical writing day look like?
Mornings with strong coffee. Then a walk. Then writing. Evenings are for reading or revising.
-
What has been the most rewarding part of being an indie author?
Control over my story and my timeline. I publish when it feels ready — not when a calendar says I should.
-
What’s one challenge you’ve faced in your writing journey?
Getting over perfectionism. It kills more books than rejection does.
-
Do you have any favorite writing tools or apps?
Notion and Evernote. I jot ideas down wherever I am, even if it’s mid-hike.
