In fifth grade we were studying myths and legends. Our teacher, Mr. Robinson, challenged us to come up with our own myth or legend. He was so impressed with mine he read it to the class. I was hooked.

My latest two, one published, one not have a common thread running through them despite the fact that one is fiction and the other is nonfiction. We both illustrate the injustices done to indigenous people and the anger that inspires.
