Author bio:

L.R. Johnson (Leslie Robert Johnson), born in England, 28.04.1951, completed his studies at a secondary grammar school. He then decided to leave England, travelled, and resided in Spain, Germany, and Holland. He now lives in Germany with his wife, Dutch environmental artist, Liesbeth Johnson-Kampen, and is now retired. Fluent in German, Dutch, English. 

Ten of his manuscripts have been traditionally published/republished in the USA, Australia, India, and South Africa. His work includes a fictional trilogy, a philosophical study, one biography, a fictional biography (both written in commission) and a set of children’s illustrated books. 

His interest in writing books commenced after writing for a daily satirical website called, “The Spoof”. He accumulated many global followers through his daily posts and inspired by some of his superb satirical writing colleagues on the site, decided to venture into writing books.

A compilation of wonderful art by his wife, Liesbeth Johnson-Kampen, and English artist, Francis Charlton, plus a collection of poems written by the author has been self-published. A biography pertaining to his brother’s life (RIP) was also self-published, plus a title filled with raw Brit-humor about a ‘nobody’ who succeeds in becoming a ‘somebody’.

The author also writes poetry with several of his poems being accepted into poetry publications and on internet poetry sites including a well-known site called, ‘All Poetry’. 

A series of fictional short stories based upon historical events which happened in the Eifel area of Germany (pre and post WW2) where the author now resides has also been contracted by a German publisher and will be published in German in 2023 or 2024.

A Hollywood film contract was signed for part 1of the Erskine Quint Trilogy, called, Timeless Insanity. Sadly, the film company in question went into liquidation and sufficient funding for the film never manifested itself.
